After several years of hard work and dedication, we are finally able to launch our brand new Edge Printed Products website! Probably two or three years ago, Nick, one of founders, had a vision to be the leading company in the market for ordering custom apparel online. When he came across the domain printedproducts.com, he jumped on it and we rebranded the business to match it shortly after. We started working on the website about two years ago, but due to the rapid expansion of our business, it had to take a backseat. But now, we are finally able to unveil our new site! We hope to be able to truly grow and automate B2B for everyone, and hope that you have an enjoyable experience here with us.
Alysha – Business Development at Edge Printed Products
What part did you play in the building of the new website?
I started building the website with Nick about two years ago. Many, many training sessions with the company behind the designer tool, and countless calls with the lovely Kaitlin at OllyOlly. We built the bare bones layout and all of the verbiage on the site, as well as the vision, and Caroline took her amazing creative brain and made everything come to life with design.
What did you learn during this process?
I learned a lot about website development, SEO, why to put certain images in certain places, and how every little detail matters.
What was your favorite part of working on the website?
My favorite part of working on the site was probably when Caroline was implemented into the process. She has the creative ability that I lack, so it was super cool being able to spin ideas off of her and watching her bring everything to life, along with putting her own spin on things.
What part of the website are you most proud of?
Honestly, I am most proud of the “Meet the Team” page on the website. I guess it’s not super relevant to the website build itself, but the team we have been able to build on the back end of the business throughout this whole process is definitely something I am proud to be able to share on the website.
Caroline – Marketing & Graphic Design at Edge Printed Products
What part did you play in the building of the new website?
I mocked up the webpages and provided content for our fantastic development team, OllyOlly, based out of Charlotte.
What did you learn during this process?
We all learned how to compromise… A LOT. We were a bit limited with our designer embed, so we had to find ways to work around these limitations while making the most out of what we had. In the future we plan on building out our own embedded designer, but for now, we have a great platform that will work for the majority of our needs.
What was your favorite part of working on the website?
This project is a good representation of Edge itself, we are always growing, and always scaling. This is something that we worked really hard on when developing this site. It was tricky as things will continuously change as we continue to grow. Our project manager at OllyOlly, Kaitlyn, walked us through the best ways to go about this and Alysha and I both learned a lot from her!
What part of the website are you most proud of?
The team collaboration that went on behind the scenes. I am so proud of this team and what we have created.
Kaitlyn – Project Manager & Design Project Planner at OllyOlly
What part did you play in the building of the new website?
As the Project Manager and Design Project Planner on this project, I helped with the execution of the ideas, design, and concepts that Edge Printed Products wanted. I managed a team of SEO personnel, Copy Writers, Graphic Designers and Developers to create their “dream website.”
What was your favorite part of working on the website?
Honestly, it has been working with Caroline, Alysha and Nick throughout this whole process. They have made the build fun and exciting and it’s always a joy to talk with them. Their ideas have inspired my work with other clients as well so I thank them immensely for the creative “juices” they gave me!
What part of the website are you most proud of?
Can I say all of it? The overall concept and design is KILLER! From colors to fonts to images and graphics, every point of the website is instinctual and flows well so that it feels seamless and complete. This is always a goal with any build but I am most proud of this website creation because the flow seems effortless.
This entire process could not have been possible without the joint effort of both my team with me and Edge Printed Products’ team. I feel a true sense of partnership with this website creation and have high hopes for the future partnership this website will bring.
Thank you so much to our amazing team for working so hard on our new website! We at Edge Printed Products hope you enjoy the website and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us.
